William Cullen Bryant (1794 – 1878) was an American romantic poet, journalist, and long-time editor of the New York Evening Post. The Bryant Park is a public park located in the New York City, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues and between 40th and 42nd Streets in Midtown Manhattan.
“Bryant Park is a a veritable oasis among the midtown skyscrapers and just outside of the chaos of Times Square. Whether you want to relax on the lawn, catch a free movie screening, play a game of chess or take a ride on Le Carrousel, there is something for everyon.” (Website of Bryant Park)
